No. 9502, known as the Universally Accessible Cheaper and Quality Medicines Act of 2008.

But eventually they will comply or they will face sanctions which include revocation of their licenses when caught," ayon kay Roxas.

“We couldn’t expect 100% compliance at the moment because small drugstores are given until September 15 to completely comply. Penalty includes fines of establishment," ayon sa mambabatas.

Sinabi naman ni Garin na mayroong sapat na kapangyarihan ang Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD) upang parusahan ang mga magpapalusot na establisimyento.

“Precisely the reason that BFAD was strengthened with accompanying budget was to see to it that law is fully implemented. They have all the powers to hand down sanctions on violators," pahayag ni Garin.

- GMANews.TV
