Beach resort caretaker couple beheaded in Sorsogon

Unidentified men beheaded a couple working as caretakers in a beach resort in Sorsogon province, a radio report said Wednesday. Radio dzXL cited belated police reports saying the incident occurred at 2 a.m. Tuesday in Salvacion village in Irosin town. Killed were Emilio Toralba and wife Maria, both caretakers of Valley View Beach Resort. Sketchy initial reports showed the victims were sleeping when the suspects sneaked into their room and attacked them. The couple’s bodies were found Tuesday morning. Police suspected the attackers were known to the victims, and might have held a grudge against them. - GMANews.TV
