GMANews.TV launches series of pioneering web shows for Eleksyon 2010

As part of GMA Network’s Eleksyon 2010 awareness campaign “Umayos na tayo!", GMANews.TV is launching Your Vox, a youth election microsite where citizens' opinions, questions and concerns on the upcoming national elections will be heard. GMANews.TV is creating a unique platform for voters to participate in debates, ask questions about pet issues, and keep themselves informed about the candidates. Your Vox will feature three pioneering web shows that will help clarify the choices on May 2010.

Examine is a question-and-answer web show that will feature election candidates and experts who will answer the top ten questions received from the public. Questions will be sent in and pooled from various sources including text messaging, email and social media websites like Facebook and Twitter.
Exchange is the first ever live chat forum where Filipinos from all over the world can log in and chat live with the election candidates. This is your chance to personally interview your 2010 aspirants about their opinions, plans, and advocacy platforms. (Click here to visit the Facebook fan page of Exchange.)
EGIG (Election Guide for the Interactive Generation) is a youth web show hosted by Gang Badoy of RockEd Philippines. EGIG will discuss election-related issues and topics that are important to the youth. The show will also educate its viewers about the history of certain issues, personalities, and events in politics that will shape the upcoming elections. The show will also feature some of today’s hottest bands, whose members will perform and talk about electoral issues.
