2009 bar examinations reset to Oct. 4 - SC spokesman

The scheduled bar examinations on Sunday has been moved to October 4 as tropical storm 'Ondoy' is still expected to bring heavy rains in several parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila. Supreme Court spokesperson Midas Marquez told GMANews.TV Saturday afternoon that bar examinations at the De La Salle University along Taft Avenue in Manila has been reset following the latest weather developments. At least 6,080 aspiring lawyers will take this year's bar examinations. Several parts of Metro Manila, which is under Storm Signal No. 1, has been submerged in flood waters as early as Saturday morning.
