Villar bukas na makipag-alyansa sa partido ni Danding

MANILA – Kasunod ng pagkalas ni Senador Francis Escudero sa Nationalist Peoples’ Coalition (NPC), inihayag ni Senador Manny Villar na bukas ang kanyang Nacionalista Party (NP) na makipag-alyansa sa grupo ni business tycoon Eduardo “Danding" Cojuangco.

Sa panayam ng media matapos ang pormal na pagsasanib ng NP at lokal na Partido Magdalo sa Cavite nitong Miyerkules ng gabi, sinabi ni Villar na nakabukas ang pintuan ng NP upang makipag-alyansa sa anumang partido partikular sa NPC ni Cojuangco.

“Bukas ang aming partido sa anumang alyansa. Kasi sa NP, tanging letrang C na lamang ang idadagdag mo, at sa NPC naman alisan mo lang ng C okey na," biro ni Villar.

Sinabi ng senador na halos magkatulad ang plataporma ng kanyang partido at NPC na nakasentro sa pagpapahusay sa kabuhayan ng mga tao, paglikha ng trabaho at proteksyon sa kapaligiran.

“Halos magkapareho naman ang aming ipinaglalaban, ang kapakanan ng taumbayan, pagpapaulad ng ating bansa at ilang bagay na naayon sa prinsipyo at adhikain ng aming partido," paliwanag ni Villar.

Mistulang nawalan ng ulo ang NPC nang biglang ihayag ni Escudero nitong Miyerkules ang pagkalas niya sa partido na itinatag ni Cojuangco noong 1992 nang tumakbong presidente.

Si Escudero sana ang ikakasa ng NPC sa panguluhang halalan, at magiging katambal nito ang kapartidong si Sen Loren Legarda.

Sa kabila ng pagkalas sa NPC, tiniyak naman ni Legarda na mananatili siya lapian at tatakbong bise presidente. May mga ulat na nililigawan si Legarda ng kampo ni Villar at ni Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro, kandidato ng administrasyong Lakas-Kampi-CMD.

Labanan sa Cavite

Matapos magbalik-loob si Cavite Gov. Ereneo “Ayong" Maliksi noong nakaraang linggo sa Liberal Party (LP) na pangungunahan sa May elections ni Sen Benigno “Noynoy" Aquino, sinelyuhan naman ng NP ang pakikipag-alyansa sa pinakamatanda at kilalang partido sa lalawigan – ang Magdalo.

Ang koalisyon ay pinangunahan nina Villar at dating Cavite vice gov. Jonvic Remulla na ipangtatapat ng NP sa pagka-gobernador sa 2010 polls laban kay Maliksi ng LP.

Kabilang sa mga dumalo sa koalisyon ang mga nakalista sa NP bilang “senatoriables" na sina Ilocos Norte Rep. Ferdinand “Bongbong" Marcos Jr., Atty. Adel Tamano, dating Cavite Rep. Gilbert Remulla, at Martin Querubin, na kumatawan sa kanyang ama na si Col. Ariel Querubin, nakakulong dahil sa kasong pag-aaklas laban sa pamahalaan noong 2005.

Nangako si (Jonvic) Remulla na ibibigay ng kanilang partidong Magdalo ang pinakamalaking bahagi ng mahigit isang milyong boto ng Cavite para kay Villar. - GMANews.TV
