Eagle Ridge to host Mabuhay Miles golf tilt Friday

A topnotch field of over 300 golfers comprising company chief executives, presidents and other business and industry captains will vie for the 2009 Mabuhay Miles Elite Invitational on Friday at the Eagle Ridge Golf & Country Club in General Trias, Cavite.
Dubbed “Swing by at Tee Time", the one–day tournament is organized by Mabuhay Miles, Philippine Airlines’ frequent flyer program for its Premier Elite and Elite circle of Business Class passengers.
The 18-hole event will be played under the System 36 handicapping format. Players will be divided into four classes for the men plus a women’s division.
Among those who signed up to play are Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. chairman Rizalino Navarro, DHL Philippines chairman Rodolfo Feliciano and Pathfinder Group president Brian Cockrell.
Last year, Vietnamese-American expatriate Tuan Nguyen edged businessman Valeriano Floro to emerge overall net champion. Floro settled for the low–gross crown.
