‘Senyales’ hinihintay ni Bong para tumakbong VP ni Gibo

MANILA- Nakahanda umano si Sen. Ramon “Bong" Revilla Jr. na makipagtambal kay Defense Secretary Gilbert “Gibo" Teodoro sa 2010 presidential elections kung makukuha ang basbas ng kanyang ama na si dating Senador Ramon Revilla Sr.

Sinabi ni Revilla na kailangan pa niyang kausapin muli ang kanyang ama na nauna na niyang napangakuan na muli na lamang siyang tatakbong senador sa Mayo 2010 sa halip na asintahan ang pangalawang pinakamataas na posisyon sa gobyerno.

Unang binalak ni Bong na tumakbong bise presidente ngunit nang ma-stroke ang nakatatandang Revilla ay hiniling nito sa anak na muling na lamang kumandidatong senador para sa kanyang ikalawang termino.

Ngunit muling nabuhay ang posibleng pagtakbo muli ni (Bong) Revilla bilang bise presidente nang mawalan ng running mate si Teodoro, napipisil na presidential candidate ng administrasyon.

Nawalan ng katambal si Teodoro nang biglang umatras sa planong pagtakbong pangalawang pangulo si Interior and Local Government Secretary Ronaldo Puno.

“Pinipilit tayong patakbuhin bilang bise-presidente kailangan nating pag-aralang mabuti iyan, hindi ganun kadali iyan at saka isa pa nangako ako sa ama ko," anang nakababatang Revilla.

“Actually I have to talked to my father, pero hindi ko naman sinasara ang pinto ko dahil ang pinag-uusapan natin dito eh bayan kung ano ang maitutulong natin. Pero siyempre kung ano man yung salitang binitawan ko sa aking ama hindi ko basta puwedeng bawiin iyon," idinagdag ng senador.

Bukod kay Revilla, kasamang ikinukonsiderang katambal ni Teodoro sina Sen. Loren Legarda, Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos at dating Optical Media Board chairman Edu Manzano.

Nakatakdang magtapos ang unang termino ni Revilla bilang senador sa 2010, kaya dapat itong mamili kung hihirit ng ikalawang termino bilang senador o bise president. Hindi katulad nina Sens Francis Escudero, Manny Villar, Benigno Aquino III, at Loren Legarda, maaaring bumalik muli sa Senado kahit matalo sa mas mataas na posisyon dahil hindi pa tapos ang kanilang – si Revilla ay wala ng babalikan sa Senado kapag pinili niyang tumakbong pangalawang pangulo.

“I’m waiting for a sign kung ako ba ay tutuloy diyan o senador siyempre inisip din natin yung bayan mahirap din namang umatras sa hamon. Ayaw ko magsalita ng tapos pero kung tatanungin nyo ako sa ngayon 50-50 ako," pag-amin ni Revilla. - GMANews.TV
