‘Lovesick’ carabao fatally gores farmer in Iloilo

A "lovesick" carabao fatally gored its owner after he refused to let it mate with a female carabao in Iloilo province over the weekend. Farmer Wenniefredo Escarpe Jr. succumbed to wounds in different parts of his body after his carabao gored him, according to a report on GMA-7's Iloilo affiliate. The incident occurred ni Kinagalingan village in Passi City where Escarpe was declared dead on arrival at the Passi City District Hospital. Escarpe's relatives said the victim had just finished farming and was about to rest when the carabao tried to approach a female carabao. When Escarpe tried to stop it, the animal suddenly gored him.
