Kung kabi-kabila ang TV coverage kina Bb. Pilipinas-International Melody Gersbach at Bb. "Nagulat pa nga si Daisy when the local franchisee of Mrs. World approached the former Bb. Pilipinas. Biglaan lang itong alis ni Daisy kasi nga yung dapat na official representative natin had to beg off from joining the pageant because of personal and family problems. She's in America right now. That's why at the last minute, they have to look for a replacement," said Daisy's manager and publicist, Ma. Linda Celestial.
STILL A QUEEN. Dagdag ni Linda, "So when the opportunity was offered to Daisy she didn't have second thought in accepting it. Kulang man sa preparasyon, Daisy had to accept the challenge. After all, she was crowned Bb. Pilipinas-World in 1996. She still maintains that regal stance onstage and she still has the face and figure of a beauty queen. Daisy is now happily married to an Indian national at may isa na siyang anak, si Lauren Reyes, five years old. More than 70 delegates from around the world will take part in Mrs. World. The event has been in existence for more than 18 years. Ang reigning Mrs. World ay si Natalia Shmarenkova ng Ukraine. The Mrs. World coronation night will be held on November 22, 2009 and will be aired the following day at 9 p.m. (Manila time) on cable channel Star World.-
