Parañaque delivery man is P111 million richer

It is going to be a prosperous 2010 for a delivery guy from Parañaque City after taking home the P111-million Superlotto jackpot drawn on Dec. 29, 2009. The 37-year-old man, unidentified for security reasons, claimed his prize money on Monday afternoon, said Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) spokesman Larry Cedro in a phone interview with GMANews.TV. The total jackpot for the 6/49 Superlotto on December 29 amounted to at least P111, 242, 358, excluding the minor prizes. The winning combination for that day's lottery was: 15-27-17-37-18-11. Among the winning numbers were the winner’s house number, birth date of his girlfriend, and his favorite number, 37. "He is our fourth winner for 2009 to exceed the P100-million mark," said Cedro, adding that the winner has been playing the betting game ever since it started in 1995. "He plans to donate P1 million to charity. All the rest, he said he will deposit to a bank," said Cedro. "He did not say, however, whether he will quit his job or not. He has no immediate plans about it." - RSJ/LBG, GMANews.TV
