PRSP elects new officers, directors

The Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) chose their new officers and directors on Monday, with GMA Network Vice-President for Corporate Communications Butch S. Raquel getting reelected president. Other elected PRSP officers were Ritzi Villarico-Ronquillo of Manila Electric Co. as internal vice-president; John V. Rojo of Bayantel Communications, external vice-president; Anna Gizelle Camua of Coca-Cola Export, secretary; Rita R. Festin of the Asian Development Bank, treasurer; and Chito S. Maniago as internal auditor. The new PRSP directors are Jorge Miguel T. Marco of Ayala Land; Felisa B. Rosales of Land Bank of the Philippines; and Catherine Ileto of Cirdia Foundation. Jones Campos will serve as an ex-officio director. Meanwhile, PRSP advisers include Eduardo S. Alcaraz of ESA Consultants; Elpi O. Cuna, Jr. of San Miguel Corp. and Maximo J. Edralin, Jr. of the central bank. The new PRSP board, elected last January 8, will take their oath at the Anvil Awards Night at the Edsa Plaza Hotel on February 26. — GMANews.TV
