Burglar nabbed for stealing underwear in Negros, but…

A 24-year-old burglar with a fetish was arrested for breaking into a boardinghouse and taking the underwear of teachers of a local elementary school in Negros Occidental. But radio dzXL reported that Ronald Nuñez, 24, may still go free after the teachers decided not to press charges against him. Toboso town police head Chief Inspector Romeo Maguate said Nuñez admitted stealing the underwear of teachers of the Vergara Elementary School. Police said women in other houses in the neighborhood had also suspected Nuñez had broken into their houses and taken their underwear. Worse, they said he would leave the underwear on the streets, already tattered. Toboso is a fourth-class town with a population of 40,712 people in 8,060 households. - LBG/RSJ, GMANews.TV
