Kris Aquino: No cursing at house of hubby's fan

(Update 7:42 PM) Actress and celebrity Kris Aquino denied cursing and creating a commotion outside the house of a purported fan of her husband, basketball star James Yap. “In my 25 years of being in the public eye nobody can ever say that it is in my nature na magmura or gumawa ng skandalo (to utter expletives or create scandals). I didn’t shout or create a commotion," Aquino said in a text message to GMA News on Friday. Aquino made the statement on Friday after the Philippine Daily Inquirer reported that she shouted insults at Mayen Austria, Yap’s fan, and her mother outside their residence on late Wednesday night. Aquino had a “peaceful conversation" with Austria’s mother at their Pasig City residence, she said in the same text message. Mayen's mother "graciously came to their gate and we had a peaceful conversation," Aquino added.

According to Kris, Mayen admitted in the text to having clinical depression “and could easily take an overdose of pills." However, the popular celebrity said she will no longer comment further on the issue as advised by her sisters and brother, presidential aspirant Senator Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III. Yap, a one-time PBA most valuable player, plays for the Purefoods TJ Giants. He has been previously linked to Belo Medical Group receptionist Hope Centeno, but Yap denied having an affair. We don't want to make the issue any bigger)," Mrs. Austria told GMANews.TV, sounding tired and some what tense. - Johanna Camille L. Sisante with Carmela Lapeña, RJAB Jr./GMANews.TV
