DFA says no ePassport processing until Jan 22

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) will be unable to process electronic passports from January 15 to 22 due to its data migration and computer systems upgrade. In a notice to the public, the DFA asked the public for its understanding. "Due to data migration and systems upgrade, we would like to inform the public that there will be no ePassport processing on 15 January up to 22 January, 2010," it said.
