P15,000 offered vs motorcycle thieves in Kidapawan

KIDAPAWAN CITY - Police here are offering a P10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of motorcycle thieves. “Any information relayed in our office will be treated with confidentiality," said Superintendent Chino Mamburam, the city's police chief. Aside from the P10,000, a P5, 000 reward would also be given to any tipster that could pinpoint the hideouts of the thieves and for possible recovery of the stolen motorcycles. Mamburam said the cash reward would be given to the tipster once the operation against the thieves yielded positive results. He said motorcycles parked outside business establishments, particularly Internet cafes, have been the targets of the thieves in the past few days. A total of nine motorcycles have been stolen in the city from January 1 to 16, according to Kidapawan City Traffic Division record. SPO2 Raymundo Lam-an, the chief of traffic division here, said they believe an organized group was behind the series of motorcycle theft. - Williamor Magbanua/KBK, GMANews.TV
