Fire hits tanker ship in Manila

A fire of still undetermined origin hit a tanker vessel docked at Pier 18 along Road 10 in Manila before dawn Thursday. Radio dzBB’s Roland Bola reported that no one was injured in the fire, which razed the crew’s quarters. Manila fire marshal Senior Superintendent Felix Abrenica said the fire started at 2:34 a.m. and reached the second alarm before firefighters put it out at 2:55 a.m. Abrenica said they are still trying to determine what caused the fire. - LBG/RSJ, GMANews.TV
