Pagara beats Indonesian foe in 'Collision Course' 1st fight

Jason Pagara opened up the Filipinos campaign in "Boxing at the Bay: Collision Course" when he defeated Indonesian challenger Eddy Comaro Saturday at the Astrodome in Pasay City. The Philippine lightweight champion Pagara eked out a majority decision win against Comaro in their scheduled 10-round match. The two judges scored the fight at 96-94 and 98-92 in favor of Pagara while the third judge saw the match 95-95. The Pagara-Comaro bout is one of the undercard matches featured in the Brian Viloria-Carlos Tamara 12-round slugfest for the Filipinos’ International Boxing Federation (IBF) light-flyweight title. – GMANews.TV
