2010 Elections: Lower House and provincial candidates for the National Capital Region (NCR)

In the interest of public service and voters' information, GMANews.TV and GMA News Research are posting the official list of candidates for Lower House seats in the 16 cities and one municipality that comprise Metropolitan Manila, also called the National Capital Region (NCR), as certified by the Commission on Elections. The list is based on a PDF file downloaded from the Comelec website (www.comelec.gov.ph) on February 9, 2010, and is therefore valid as of that date. For purposes of convenient clustering, we have divided the NCR into four territorial sections. The southern section is composed of Las Piñas, Makati, Muntinlupa, Parañaque, Pasay, Taguig, and Pateros (NCR's only municipality). The central section is composed of Mandaluyong, Marikina, Pasig, Quezon City, and San Juan. The northern section is composed of Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, and Valenzuela. The western section is the City of Manila itself. The four embedded documents below contain only the list of candidates for Lower House representatives for the congressional districts in the NCR. The list of candidates for city- or municipal-level elective seats in the said 16 cities and one municipality will be posted separately. NCR - SOUTH (Las Piñas, Makati, Muntinlupa, Parañaque, Pasay, Taguig, Pateros) NCR - CENTRAL Mandaluyong, Marikina, Pasig, Quezon City, San Juan) NCR - NORTH (Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, Valenzuela) NCR - CITY OF MANILA
