"Teen boxers" and "election-related violence"

Episode on January 26, 2010
Tuesday night, after Saksi

TEEN BOXERS
Report by Jiggy Manicad

The sheer number of Filipino boxers who conquered the ring only proves that the country produces world-class fighters. Despite the danger this sport entails, many dream of becoming the next legend. And many pursue this ambition at a young age. Several of these minors start by joining boxing fights during fiestas, where they risk getting injured in exchange for a boxing title and cash prize of fifty pesos.

ELECTION VIOLENCE
Report by Rhea Santos

Every election seems to be marred with violence. Official data from the Philippine National Police shows that from 1992 to 2004, the number of election-related violence has been significantly increasing. How will the government address this problem?

TOTOY BOKSINGERO
