Petron to slash diesel, kerosene prices Monday noon

Major oil player Petron Corporation announced that it would implement price cuts on its diesel and kerosene products on Monday noon. Petron public affairs officer Rafael Ledesma said in a text message that diesel and kerosene would be 75 centavos cheaper to reflect the downtrend in the international oil markets. The rollback would take effect 12 noon, he added. As of posting time, other oil giants Pilipinas Shell and Chevron Philippines have yet to announce whether they would match Petron’s move. Earlier, independent oil firms Eastern Petroleum and Seaoil Philippines reduced diesel, kerosene, and gasoline prices.
