Bomb scare disrupts LRT1 operations Thursday morning

A bomb scare disrupted operations of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) Line 1 in Manila early Thursday morning. Radio dzBB's Carlo Mateo reported that the Manila Police District was called to the LRT's station in Vito Cruz after guards noticed a paper bag left behind by a passenger. The MPD dispatched a police team to the site, even as the police recommended that LRT operations be suspended while they retrieve the object.
