Petron, Shell to raise pump prices Wednesday

Two major oil players will increase prices of its gasoline, diesel and kerosene products starting Wednesday. In a text message, Raffy Ledesma, Petron’s public affairs officer, said the oil company will raise the price of gasoline by P1 per liter, and of diesel and kerosene by P0.75 per liter effective 6 a.m. Wednesday. Ledesma said the price hike was “to reflect international oil prices." Another major oil player, Pilipinas Shell, will also hike its pump prices at the same rate as Petron’s effective 12:01 a.m. Wednesday.—ACC/JV, GMANews.TV
