Mortar attack at Ampatuan mayor's house injures two

At least two people were reported injured following a mortar attack on the house of a town mayor in Maguindanao province on Sunday night. Unidentified men also strafed the house of Ampatuan town Mayor Datu Zacaria Sangki — one of the witnesses who testified in the Maguindanao massacre — after the mortar attack, radio dzXL reported. Explosions rocked the mayor’s house at about 7 p.m. on Sunday, Maguindanao police provincial director Senior Superintendent Alex Lineses. He did not immediately name the two people injured in the incident.
