Gaming fans all set for online Domination IV

IP e-Game Ventures Inc., the online gaming unit of IPVG Corp (PSE: IP) is all set for Domination IV, IP e-Games’ annual gaming event and anniversary celebration. Domination is considered the biggest single-day gaming event since 2008, drawing record crowds of 15,000 and 21,000 gamers for Domination II and III respectively, both held at SMX Convention Center at the SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City. Domination IV, to be held on April 10, 2010 at the same venue, will be even bigger and will have that distinct Filipino Festive and Carnival environment. “We are going to bring Carnival and Fiesta thrills especially with our offline events and activities. Domination IV will continue to break single-day gaming attendances," says Gil Edeza, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of IP e-Games. Domination IV will have more than 300 top-of-the-line PCs available for freeplay and tournaments, the most exciting online game tournaments and prizes, and the hottest musical and celebrity performances. Domination IV will have dedicated gaming areas for each e-Games title, such as RAN Online, CABAL Online, Runes of Magic, Granado Espada, and Dragonica. X-Play Online Games Inc. (X-Play), the casual games division of IP e-Games, will also have individual gaming areas for Audition Dance Battle, OP7 and Band Master. Each gaming area will have its own online game tournaments with hundreds of thousands of pesos in cash prizes and in-game items to be given away. Domination IV will also be the launch pad for Dragonica, IP e-Games’ newest online adventure game. With Role-Playing Game (RPG) elements and an 8-way, side-scrolling system in full 3D, Dragonica’s gameplay is fun, intuitive and offers gameplay elements to satisfy both novice and hardcore gamers. Another highlight for Domination IV will be Band Master, X-Play’s music rhythm game. Developed by Yedang Online, Band Master has gameplay similar to popular music band games wherein gamers will get to play in a concert-like atmosphere. However, Band Master presents a brand new concept in online games where players can play up to 6 different instruments with other players. What’s also unique about Band Master is it allows for actual garage or indie band setups and a unique social networking opportunity. Band Master also provides better online community integrations. X-Play will also unveil Superstar Online, the country’s first online videoke.
