Edu to take a break from campaign to attend brother’s funeral
Administration party vice-presidential bet Edu Manzano will take a four-day break from campaigning to attend his elder brotherâs funeral in the United States, his campaign manager said Wednesday. In a telephone interview with GMANews.TV, Reli German said Manzano is set to fly to Los Angeles on Thursday to go to his brotherâs funeral. "Edu will be gone for four days from the campaigns. He is trying to catch a flight tomorrow, then come back Sunday," German said. Manzanoâs 64-year-old elder brother, Adrian, died on Wednesday due to complications caused by aneurysm, according to German. He added that Manzanoâs partymates from Lakas-Kampi had been notified about the vice-presidential aspirantâs plan to go to US for four days. â Andreo Calonzo/RSJ, GMANews.TV
