Report: 70-year-old robbed, burned in Cebu

Authorities in Cebu province are now tracking down the suspects in the grisly robbery and killing of a 70-year-old woman in Badian town. The victim, Masing Auditor, was burned inside her house in Sitio Law-ang in Tigbao village after the robbery, Visayas-based Bombo Radyo reported Saturday. PO2 Rey Ivan Jaurez of the Badian police said the robbers may have victimized Auditor after they learned she had just sold her carabaos. Investigation showed the victim's relatives found her ashes inside her house. — LBG, GMANews.TV
