Pilot hurt as spray plane crashes in Davao Norte


A plane used to spray pesticide crashed at a banana plantation in Tagum City in the southern Philippine province of Davao Del Norte on Sunday. Its pilot was immediately brought to a hospital, police said. Tagum City police head Superintendent Giuseppe Geralde told dzBB radio they received the report of the crash in the village of Pagsabangan at about 7:45 a.m. He said the pilot identified as Captain Randy Raagas, had been taken to a nearby hospital before investigators arrived at the crash site.
