2 killed in 'drug-related' shooting in QC — report

Two men were shot dead in what police suspect to be a drug-related shooting in Quezon City Monday night. Radio dzBB's Roland Bola reported the victims, initially identified as George Santos and Junel Enverga, were about to board a motorcycle when they were shot. Initial police investigation showed at least two unidentified men armed with cal-.45 and 9-mm pistols opened fire on the victims on Riverside Street at Housing Area 3 in Commonwealth Village. Santos managed to run a few meters but succumbed to gunshot wounds in different parts of the body. Police said they suspect a drug deal gone sour could be the motive for the shooting, citing information linking the two victims to drug-related deals. — LBG, GMANews.TV
