Priest checks into Cebu City motel, suffers heart attack


A priest died after suffering a heart attack inside a motel in Cebu City Wednesday night. Radio dzXL reported Thursday the victim, initially identified as Fr. Alexander Salvi, 52, had checked in under a different name. Salvi, 52, and assigned to the Pardo Parish Church, was declared dead on arrival at the Perpetual Succor hospital. Initial investigation showed he checked in at the Pacific Tourist Inn as “Al Villa." He complained of chest pains and died before he could be brought to the hospital. - GMANews.TV
