4 fatally pinned in predawn car crash in Quezon City

A high-speed ride ended violently for four people who were pinned inside their car after it hit a post and crashed before dawn Friday in Quezon City . Radio dzXL reported police are looking into whether the driver of the car, initially identified as Sidney Vernon Sio, was drunk while at the wheel. But a separate report by dzBB radio's Roland Bola said rescuers who rushed to the scene found no signs of life on the four, two of whom were initially identified as Davidson Viray and Sidney Vernon Sio. The maroon Nissan Exalta sedan (WNJ-101) ended up a wreck after hitting a post along P. Tuazon Street in Cubao. The report said that rescuers who rushed to the crash site at 5 a.m. found no signs of life inside the car as they pry on the wreckage.
