Bayron favored in Philippine Golf Tour events

It will be a busy round of golf over the next two weeks as the Philippine Golf Tour continues its circuit beginning with the P1-million Riviera Classic at the Riviera Golf Club in Silang, Cavite set May 19. A week after the Riviera Classic, PGT goes to Antipolo City at the Forest Hills Golf Club for the Forest Hills Classic where a total of P1-million of purse will be up for grabs. Jay Bayron, the defending champion of the Forest Hills Classic, is tipped as among the favorites in the two-week tour. The Mercedes-Benz Tour runner-up is expected to face stiff challenge from other bidders such as former PGT champions Angelo Que, Elmer Salvador, and Marvin Dumandan in quest for the prestigious crown and the P200,000 top prize that goes with it. Dumandan leads the players in total earnings with of P223,500 followed by Bayron with P212,500. Salvador, winner of the kickoff leg at Mt.
