YouScoop: Did you encounter voting problems? You can help map them

GMANews.TV has been continuously receiving incident reports on the nationwide automated election that is ongoing today, May 10, as voters continue to troop to more than 76,000 precinct clusters to cast their votes. Although there are many reports saying that the voting is going well, more reports have been posted on a wide range of problems: mostly about PCOS machine failures and delays that led to slow voting, long lines of voters, and irregular procedures in the handling of ballots. The incident reports are sent in by YouScoop volunteers and other citizen journalists, and automatically posted as labeled pins on a map in our YouScoop page, which is also displayed here. (Click here to go to the YouScoop map page)
Each incident report contains the type of incident, a short text narrative explaining the incident, accompanying photo, video or audio if any, time stamp and location, and identity of the sender. We encourage all our readers to use this resource: to submit first-hand reports, gather other relevant data, and help disseminate these information about the conduct of today’s elections.—JV, GMANews.TV
