2 killed 1 hurt in Parañaque fire

At least two people were killed while one was injured in a fire that hit a residential area in Parañaque City Saturday night. Radio dzBB reported early Sunday the fire in Bagong Silang in Parañaque City reached the second alarm. One of the fatalities was initially identified as Mark Sandoval, who was crushed by falling debris during the fire. The second fatality was not immediately named but was described as an 18-year-old woman who died of suffocation. Another resident was rushed to a nearby hospital, the report said. --LBG, GMANews.TV
