Superal bags jungolf crown in India

Reed-thin Princess Superal came up with a huge game in the final round, shooting a one-under-par 71 to close out with a victory in the girls' Class B division in the 31st Asia-Pacific Junior Golf Championships held at the Eagleton Golf Resort in Bangalore, India. Superal, the 14-year-old standout of Orchard Golf, carded rounds of 73 and 74 in the first two days to wound up with a 218 for a three-shot win against Thai Pinrath Loombunruang (221) in the 54-hole competition. It was her first major international triumph.
