Motorists warned against fake cop on motorcycle


Motorists were warned against a fake motorcycle-riding cop on the loose in Manila. This warning was issued by the Manila Police District (MPD) after a complaint was filed by one of his victims, Renato Seminiano, 25, of Barangay Mar Francisco, Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro. The fake police officer, who wore a complete uniform, was 5’9 tall, and rode a black motorcycle with “police" written on its license plate, said Seminiano’s complaint which was fled at the MPD’s General Assignment Section. While on Delpan Bridge in Tondo, Manila at 11:30 PM of Wednesday, Seminiano, who was driving a truck, was flagged down by the fake cop who asked his driver’s license. The “policeman" then asked for cash in exchange of his driver’s license. When he refused, the cop took off, Seminiano said.
