Actress Lindsay Lohan makes bail on arrest warrant

LOS ANGELES — Lindsay Lohan already has made bail, hours after a warrant was issued for her arrest. Los Angeles Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini says a bond was posted for the 23-year-old actress Thursday after a judge issued an arrest warrant for Lohan earlier in the day. Bail was set at $100,000. Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel issued the warrant Thursday after Lohan missed a mandatory court hearing. Lohan's attorney told the court that Lohan's passport was stolen while she was at the Cannes Film Festival so she was unable to return to Los Angeles in time for Thursday's hearing. Attorney Shawn Chapman Holley says Lohan will be back in the United States on Friday. Holley did not immediately respond to telephone and e-mail messages Thursday. — AP
