QC fire razes 50 homes

Some 200 families lost their homes in a fire that razed around 50 houses in Quezon City shortly before midnight Saturday. A report on dzBB radio said the fire started in the second floor of a house in a residential area along Agham Road at about 11:44 p.m. The fire reached the fourth alarm and burned houses made of light materials. No one was reported injured in the fire, as arson investigators were looking into the claims of residents' that the fire was deliberate.—Ma. Carmela Guanzon Lapeña/VS, GMANews.TV
