Fire hits SM North Edsa clothing store – report

Fire struck a clothing store at the second floor of the SM North Edsa mall main building in Quezon City on Tuesday afternoon, a radio report said. The fire started inside the American Boulevard clothing store inside the mall at past 5 p.m., causing mall-goers to evacuate the area due to heavy smoke, radio dzBB’s Allan Gatus reported. The Quezon City fire department quickly responded and put the blaze under control minutes after it broke, the report said. No one was reported hurt during the incident, according to the report.
