Third-seeded Djokovic reaches French Open 4th round

PARIS — Third-seeded Novak Djokovic of Serbia has advanced to the fourth round of the French Open by beating Victor Hanescu of Romania 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 6-2. Djokovic broke the 6-foot-6 Hanescu seven times Saturday in a match that produced a flurry of winners. Djokovic lost in the third round at Roland Garros in 2009 but reached the semifinals the two previous years. He will next face either former champion Juan Carlos Ferrero of Spain or American Robby Ginepri. – AP
