PSE main index close higher in moderate trading

Share prices on the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) closed slightly higher in moderate trading Monday. The main PSE index advanced by over half a percentage point, or 20.1 points, to close at 3,272.73. More than 1.23 billion shares worth P2.51 billion changed hands in the day’s session. Decliners led gainers 52 to 50, while 53 issues closed unchanged. All of the market’s subindices closed slightly higher from Friday’s levels, led by industrial stocks which rose by 1.32 percent to end the session at 5,092.02. —VS, GMANews.TV
