Unidentified body with knife in chest found floating in Agusan River
A dead body with two stab wounds and a kitchen knife still embedded in its chest was found floating in the Agusan River on Saturday morning. Measuring 5’2 in height and estimated be anywhere from 40 to 50 years of age, the slim-built corpse was found floating along the waterway between the boundaries of Barangay Culi, San Luis and Purok 8 of San Nicholas, Talacogon, Agusan del Sur, the Philippine National Police Office in CARAGA said in a statement. The stab wounds were identified to have caused the victim’s death, elements of the Talacogon Municipal Police Station said. The police is still conducting in-depth investigation to identify the victim and the suspect, said the statement which was issued on Monday by police officer 3 Philip Amer Posas Mazo. - RJAB Jr., GMANews.TV
