18 hurt in bus-truck collision in Tarlac province

At least 18 people were injured in a predawn collision between a passenger bus and a 10-wheeler truck in Tarlac province Tuesday. Radio dzBB reported most of the injured were passengers of the Partas bus that collided with the truck on the national highway in Parsolingan village. The driver of the truck and helper, who were not immediately named, were also injured, the report said. PO3 Ernesto Campo of the Gerona Police Office cited initial reports indicating the truck suddenly swerved left while traveling along the highway's southbound portion.
