21-year-old falls from boat, drowns in Batangas

A fishing adventure in Batangas province ended in tragedy after a 21-year-old participant drowned off Calatagan town there last Tuesday, the Philippine Coast Guard said on Wednesday. Nelson Erna fell overboard and drowned after big waves battered their motor banca off Quilitisan village in Calatagan town, the Coast Guard said. Coast Guard search-and-rescue teams found Erna's body on early Wednesday morning, the agency said on Thursday.
