Palace orders agencies to investigate murder of BSP chief's brother

Law enforcement agencies were directed by Malacañang to investigate and bring the killers of the brother of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Amando Tetangco Jr. and two others to justice. The Palace is leaving it to agencies concerned to determine the motive behind the murder of Rene Tetangco, Dennis Guinto, and Florencio Yap whose bodies were found inside an abandoned vehicle in Angeles City in Pampanga on Thursday morning. Yap, the vehicle’s owner, reportedly told his wife on Wednesday night that he would play poker in Angeles City. The directive covered not only high profile cases but every case, Deputy Presidential Spokesperson Charito Planas said on Friday. "Sinuman na nabiktima, sinuman na napatay o nasugatan o naging biktima ay kaagad may order iyan at kasama na iyan na ang madaliang imbestigasyon upang iyung mga gumawa ng mga krimen ay madala sila sa korte upang sila masentensyahan," she said. (The order covers all cases whoever the victim might be. The order also calls for a swift investigation so that those responsible can be brought to court.) - RJAB Jr./LBG, GMANews.TV
