PEP: Leonardo DiCaprio to visit Manila in 2011?

Leonardo DiCaprio in Manila! This is according to publicist Joyce Ramirez, also the lead PR of the project that will bring the Hollywood A-list actor to the Philippines early next year. The Titanic star is currently promoting his latest Hollywood movie Inception, written and directed by Christopher Nolan. Opening on July 16, the sci-fi thriller also stars Ken Watanabe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Oscar winner Marion Cottilard. He plans to visit the Philippines sometime between January to March 2011 for an environmental awareness project in partnership with the private sector. Leo is an active advocate of environmental issues, using his global popularity as an actor to reach out to the international audience in promoting environmental awareness on campaigns such as the worldwide movement to eliminate the use of plastic bags. - Dinno Erece, PEP
