1 killed in predawn Cebu fire

A 29-year-old man was killed in a predawn fire that hit his house in a residential area in Cebu City. Radio dzBB reported early Tuesday that Jason Enriquez was alone in the house at Busay village in Cebu City when the fire occurred at about 2 a.m. Monday. Enriquez was believed drunk and could not get out of the burning house, the report said. Firefighters managed to put out the fire and began investigating on its cause. — LBG, GMANews.TV
