TVI Resource completes 15th copper shipment

TVI Resource Development (Phils.) Inc. said Monday that it has completed its 15th shipment of copper concentrates from the Canatuan Mine for $7.2 million. The latest shipment of 5,247 dry metric tons brought the company’s expected year-to-date gross revenue to $43.1 million, and volume to 26,047 DMT. “Copper concentrate grade levels have been kept around 20 percent while zinc circuit commissioning continues," Rocky Dimaculangan, the TVI Resource spokesperson, said in a statement. "Current production plans call for maintaining production at those grade levels in preparation for the next shipment scheduled in approximately six weeks," he said. The copper concentrates were shipped from the TVI Resource warehouse in Zamboanga del Norte’s Port Santa Maria. MRI Trading AG, the commodities trading company based in Zug, Switzerland, is the sole buyer of copper concentrates that TVI Resource produces from the Canataun Mine. —VS, GMANews.TV
