770 pass Social Worker Licensure Exam

A total of 770 out of 1,321 passed the Social Worker Licensure Examination given by the Board for Social Workers in nine cities nationwide, according to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). The examinations were given in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga this June 2010. The oath taking ceremony of the successful examinees, as well as the previous ones who have not taken their Professional Oath, will be held before the Board on August 6, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Manila Hotel, One Rizal Park. Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Monday, July 12, 2010 but not later than July 29, 2010, while registration for membership with the Philippine Association of Social Workers, Inc.
