Report: Angat Dam to suspend operations for 3 days

Amid the continued lowering of its water levels, Angat Dam in Bulacan province will suspend operations this coming week give its equipment the needed break. Radio dzBB reported Saturday that Angat Dam general manager Rodolfo German said the water reservoir will suspend operations July 7 to 9. But he assured water supply in Metro Manila will not be affected. According to him the stoppage of operations is aimed at protecting the dam's turbine blades and to give the machinery a break.
