Man nabbed in San Lorenzo Village for possession of guns, drugs
Authorities in Makati arrested an elderly man in the cityâs posh San Lorenzo Village Sunday, after inspection of his car by village officials yielded at least two undocumented firearms and suspected illegal substances. Makati Station Anti-Illegal Drugs (SAID) chief Maj. Jonathan Villamor identified the suspect as 54-year-old Ricardo Arnaldo. Villamor said Arnaldo rammed his black Chrsyler van into motorcycles, owned by the villageâs administration, parked on Amorsolo Sreet. The incident happened right in front of the village hall a little past 6:00 a.m. San Lorenzo security officials checked Arnaldoâs vehicle and found at least two pistols and substances, believed to be cocaine and marijuana, as well as suspected drug paraphernalia. Scene of the Crime Operatives have yet to determine whether the substances were indeed illegal drugs, Villamor said. Police have yet to verify Arnaldoâs residence but Villamor said he is definitely not from San Lorenzo. Arnaldo declined to answer questions from the police, Villamor said. âJerrie Abella/VS, GMANews.TV
